Mizzou Mistake

Somewhat lost in this interesting NCAA championship time of the year is this interesting tidbit that I heard today from one of the Elders in our church. In 1999 the University of Missouri hired Quinn Snyder. Most people in Missouri unfortunately cannot forget that. What many may not remember, however, is that Mizzou interviewed three people for the MU job before hiring Snyder. What other two candidates make that illustrious list you ask? Why that would be the two coaches in the national championship game, Bill Self and John Calipari. Wow, how do you make that mistake and keep your job? No wonder Mizzou is watching the Big Dance from home.
