Various and sundry items

I had an opportunity to work tonight for a while as we tried to get ready for the Go Conference coming up this weekend. As I was working, I was reminded that evidently more than a few people have been wondering whether we will provide childcare or not. The good news is that childcare will definitely be provided. It will begin each evening at 6pm, which is when our Missions Fair will open. So, parents with children, bring them on! We’d love to see you join us for this weekend.

The other really exciting news, however, is in regards to our technology for the conference. Thanks to the wonderful world of justin.tv it appears that we will be offering the conference as a free webcast! We are still working out a few kinks, but assuming that we get them taken care of (and we should be able to) we will webcast the conference starting with Friday night and going through Sunday morning. This will allow those of you who cannot attend an opportunity to listen in as we experience God’s heart for missions. With speakers like Dave Gibbons, Dennis Culbreth and Jerry Rankin you won’t want to miss it! You can access the video feed from the frontpage of the Go Conference website or you can simply go to www.goconference.net/video. Either way I hope you will take advantage of this opportunity!

If you need a schedule of events, be sure to check out the conference website.
