Twice as nice!

Ten years ago this month I was sitting in Kansas City and enjoying the Gators first National Championship. Tonight I enjoyed the same experience, only it was much more satisfying. The picture above is not very good but it’s my wife, my girls, and I enjoying the Gators win over the Ohio State Buckeyes. What a game! Those are the kind of games you only get to experience once or twice in a lifetime!

Life is good in the Gator Nation tonight!

Go Gators!!!

  1. I don’t say this to sound spiritual… frankly, i’m sad and embarassed… I TOTALLY FORGOT THAT THE GAME WAS LAST NIGHT!!! UGH! I’M STOKED THAT FLORIDA WON! GO GATORS AND GO SEC! I also apologize for Arkansas’s performance in the Capital One Bowl, but please note the fact that many of our top players were out of that game or playing injured and we still haven’t figured out how to coach a quarterback.

  2. Well, congratulations! I was quite shocked by what transpired, my best guess was that Florida might get within 20 at some point in the game, and when the Buckeyes ran back the opening kickoff, I thought, well, there it goes. I have to admit, I thought Florida’s chances of winning the BCS went by the wayside when Steve Spurrier left.

Apparently, the Heisman jinx is back. I can remember my Dad talking about that, it seemed, more often than not, that the team of a player who won the Heisman sort of fell apart after that. Overall, Ohio State looked more like they were playing to protect their pro player potential from injury than a college team that wanted a national title.

Too bad Florida and Boise State couldn’t hook up somewhere.

  3. It looks to me as though Grace wants to do the SEMINOLE CHOP!!!

As to the comment on Arkansas losing…no excuses Wisconsin won (a Badger fan)!

Alas, I have to say Congratulations!!
