Packers Vs. Chiefs

Well, that was one incredible football game! I really thought, as we came to the end of the game, that the Chiefs were going to pull it out but Brett Favre continues to add to his legend and our defense continues to be the MVP of our team this year. As a kid who grew up a die hard cheesehead, today was one of those dream come true sort of experiences for me. I’ll have to admit that I felt more than a little bit like a kid in a candy store today. Watching Favre play was as unbelievably exciting as I ever imagined that it would be.

To commemerate the occasion, I took almost 85 pictures during the day and have converted them into a photo album. You can view it below. For you Chiefs fans, I also included some nice shots of many of the great Chiefs players, including some nice pictures of the halftime ceremony honoring Will Shields.

Oh, and to top it off, Jimmie Johnson won his third straight race today and became the points leader for the Chase for the Nextel Cup. What a great day!

  1. Great photos, Micah! Thanks for sharing – sounds like it was a super good day.
Hope you have a wonderful day! Love you all and see you soon! šŸ™‚ Vera

  2. Though a native of MO I’ve always loved the Packers. Spent three years in North Dakota, so the Vikings and Packers were the closest we could get. Love Favre and my son tells me it’s good to see one of us “old guys” doing well.
But brother, you’ve got to drop the 48 stuff. I can handle the disagreements over convention issues and emergent issues and so on. But this Chase thing is just not right. By the old points system, my man Jeff would be 400 points ahead of his teammate. That he’s even in it just isn’t right. I’ll pray you have a conversion and come over to the 24 camp!
