Mission Wisconsin Update

Many of you know that I’m leading a team from our church on a mission trip in Richland Center, Wisconsin. Unfortunately I have neither strong cell phone coverage or good internet connections. As such I’m sitting, with Nick our youth pastor, in the parking lot of a Culver’s restaraunt using their wireless connection. I wanted to drop a few pictures in the blog as an update in case you are praying.

We have had a productive week so far. We have done some contruction work, a block party and spent this morning prayer walking. We will be doing survey work tonight and tomorrow we could really use your prayers as we host a fairly large block party in Portage, Wisconsin with River of Life Church which is an SBC church plant.

Micah is a husband to Tracy & a daddy to Grace, Kessed & Haddon. He’s Senior Pastor at Brainerd Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN. Most of all, he’s a debtor to grace.

  1. Micah,

Glad to hear this good report. Say hello to your folks for me – I had a nice visit with them in San Antonio.

By the way, in case anyone is wondering if Micah is standing on something to lift his little girl all the way up to the rim: he’s not.

    😉

  2. Micah and the MO team,

Thanks for everything you did for us while you were here. The camp-out was memorable and while your parents were clearly encouraged by your trip/visit, so many more were as well.

  3. Micah and Missouri Valley Baptist Church,

Thank you so much for your investment in the kingdom of God here in Wisconsin. You have made much greater impact than you will ever know here with the work you have done.

    Yours in Christ,

    Mark Millman
