Messages available

Some time ago I shared with you about how our church had begun podcasting our messages. We’ve added an additional option to our site. You can now log on and download individual messages, podcast the message, or use our built in player to listen to the messages right on the site. It’s our way of making them as convenient as possible for you. Click here to see what’s available.

One of the reasons I share this is to encourage those of you who are in smaller churches to make your church as available as possible through the internet. You can vastly multiply your influence through inexpensive, and even free, options like those we’re offering. In fact, if you already have a website you can do all that we have done on our site for free if you know where to look. As usual I will point you to ChurchCommunicationsPro.com for additional information.

Micah is a husband to Tracy & a daddy to Grace, Kessed & Haddon. He's Senior Pastor at Brainerd Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN. Most of all, he's a debtor to grace.

  1. Thanks for this post. It gives me the idea of trying to get our Pastor’s messages in podcast form. He is such a great preacher. I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of him…his name is Dr. Bill Cashion. He was a missionary for a period of time with the IMB in Venezuela, and then he worked for the IMB, for, i dunno, many 20 years…traveling all over the US and word (64 countries) preaching about missions. They are trying to see about getting him on local TV. The one drawback he sees is feeling like he has to end at a certain time period. But I wonder if I could get it in podcast form…..they always video the sermon anyway for DVDs…and but it on the church website (www.bbcofclarkesville.org). This post has given me something to think about.

  2. Charlie-

I do know who your pastor is. I don’t know that I’ve met him personally but I’ve certainly heard of him many times before.

If you are serious about podcasting, my buddy Cory over at CCP offers a free tutorial that explains how to do it with essentially no cost to you. Check it out here.
