Merry Christmas – redneck style!

If you are in the mood for Christmas shopping, and you haven’t quite figured out what to get that hard to shop for “little hunter boy” than we have the gift for you! How about a hunter jeep complete with deer on the hood and cooler in the back, not to mention that it rides around accompanied by the sounds of “Low Rider” and “Sweet Home Alabama.”

Man, if I can ever stop laughing I might have to buy this for some folks I know!

Micah is a husband to Tracy & a daddy to Grace, Kessed & Haddon. He's Senior Pastor at Brainerd Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN. Most of all, he's a debtor to grace.

  1. That sounds like it is along the same lines as those fish plaques that were so popular a couple of years ago, the ones that the fish turned and sang “Take Me to the River.”

I bought one for my Dad.

Welcome to the blog author portion of the blogworld! It was great to meet you as well. I’ve given up on so much about the state of Missouri that it’s refreshing to meet guys like yourself who are like-minded and still strong here in our state.

I have been reading your blog for the past few days. Your most recent post about the inadequacy of the abstention argument is a good one.

John Stickley (http://toward-the-goal.net) who is a layman in my church, has shown me some of the mess. It’s beyond ridiculous. To be honest, it’s the stuff of 3rd graders. Sneaking around to “catch ’em” just turns my stomach. John actually emailed the church to let them know that this stuff was happening so they didn’t get caught in the stupid little game that these people are playing.

Praise God for churches like Journey. We need more just like them.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the compliments on the design. This blog has been redesigned about 9 times. As a matter of fact, it may get one more redesign here soon because I really want a blog with three columns instead of two. It won’t change it too horribly much, I don’t think, but it will definitely be noticable. Graphic design and webdesign are some of my two biggest hobbies and so I, unfortunately, spend way too much time playing with it!

By the way, if I could make a recommendation it would be to switch from blogger to wordpress. I think you would really enjoy it and it would be easier to do now before your readership gets too used to the other site.
