Wednesday is for photos?
Well, Wednesday is not generally the popular day to post photos, but I took a few today that I wanted to share. We drove our girls over to Hannibal, on the eastern side of the state, today to drop them off with their grandparents who are taking them to Florida. On the way back Tracy and I walked through the woods to see an old covered bridge. The bridge used to be over a creek and used to be in use. Neither of those things are true today. It’s now preserved as a Missouri State Historic Place. It was beautiful. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Howdy! My name is Micah Fries and I am a husband, daddy and pastor who loves to discuss life, theology, culture and variety of other issues.

Is that the Locust Creek covered bridge?
John-
It is.
That’s really nice, I love that kind of stuff. Although, it does look like a great place for a hijacking.;)
Being from Vermont where we have more covered bridges than people; well, not really but until 1977 we did have more cows than people–I do like those shots. Hey, if the Royals are going to lose so much, why not at least do it in nine innings instead of fourteen. That way, they can lose and still save their energy for the next loss.
Let’s go Sox (Red)
John in STL
I thought so. Aren’t many covered bridges between here and Hannibal…
These pics are really pretty but I’m more excited that you met Mama and Daddy so I get to see the girls soon…of course Kessed called me earlier not because she wanted to talk to me but to ask “Where’s Chris?” It seems everytime Daddy or Mama mention coming to see me she always asks, “and Chris?” I feel so loved!
Great job on the pics, Micah!. Those are postcard worthy. Just one thing missing - you know what it is, but I’m sure you took at least one with………….
