Grading the SBC blogosphere
Well, Tony Kummer has undertaken an unenviable task of identifying the most influential bloggers in Southern Baptist life. He has accumulated a list of 68 blogs that are written by Southern Baptists and often deal with SBC issues and he has placed them into four regionals, much like a Southern Baptist version of March Madness. MicahFries.com has been listed in the Midwest Region along with heavy hitters such as Timmy Brister, Art Rogers, David Rogers and Les Puryear. My chances for moving on to the next round are probably slim going up against those guys.
Anyway, it’s kind of fun to watch as the votes come in. If you read SBC blogs you might want to run over and cast your votes. You can do so by clicking here.
Howdy! My name is Micah Fries and I am a husband, daddy and pastor who loves to discuss life, theology, culture and variety of other issues.

FYI: I’m all over it (translation: I voted for you.)
Tim and Micah,
I voted for both of you guys. Talk about competition, man! I do like that no on can vote more than once per region.
Blessings.
Les
Timmy and Les-
Glad to feel the love. Truth be told I actually voted for both of you as well, and that was even before I knew you voted for me.
Thanks!
I voted for you, before I voted against you.
Thanks
Kerry, er I mean Kummer.Always vote for yourself. Once, in high school, I voted for the person running against me which backfired when she voted for herself instead of me. She won by 1 vote!
