Child Dedication

Today was an exciting day of worship for a number of reasons. One reason in particular was that we had an opportunity to dedicate a few children to the Lord. One of those children was my youngest daughter Kessed. Tracy has posted a few pictures from the event on her blog, but I thought I would stick two of them on my site as well.

In my feed reader, I only first saw the top half of the pictures. I was wondering why your poor wife was forced to kneel beside you.

I realized I’d never seen a picture of the two of you standing together, and I had forgotten that you’re nearly nine feet tall… ;-)

I’m not sure 9′ is accurate, but there is aprox. 2′ difference between the two of us. :-)

It was a wonderful time. It was made even more special when, after the message, the altar was flooded with people who were broken over our need to be consumed with God’s passion rather than our own passion in life.

It was a good day!
