I have realized recently that I’m not really a good fundamentalist. As a matter of fact, I really would rather not be reffered to as one at all. In all reality I’m probably more of a liberal than I would like to admit, at least as far as we typically categorize those areas today. One area that I’ve really recognized lately is my political affiliation. It should be no surprise to anyone that I’m a registered Republican. I’ve realized recently that I really despise a lot about the Republican Party though. The problem is that I’m not fond of the Democrats either. I’m really a nice mix of Republican/Independent/Libertarian/Democrat. I’ll stay a registered member of a party right now because in Missouri we can’t vote in the primaries otherwise since we have closed primaries. Anyway I think I’ll explain more specifically why I think this way in the near future but for now I wanted to recommend that you read this article. It’s a really unique commentary on the Democratic Party that I found intriguing.
